Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Strengthening Nigeria-China Ties with Key Agreements

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a significant official visit to China, where he focused on enhancing bilateral ties between Nigeria and China.
During his stay in China, President Tinubu held crucial meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The discussions led to the signing of five memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation between both countries. Tinubu also participated in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), where, as the chairman of ECOWAS, he delivered a speech highlighting the importance of multilateralism and global cooperation for peace.
Before concluding his visit, President Tinubu met with the Nigerian community in China, where he discussed ongoing reforms in Nigeria and expressed hope that these efforts would lead to improvements in infrastructure, power supply, and education, drawing inspiration from China’s development model.
