MTN Foundation Supports Music Development with MUSON Scholarship

The MTN Foundation has reaffirmed its dedication to supporting musical talent in Nigeria through its 2024 Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Scholarship Programme.

The MTN-MUSON Scholarship Programme is aimed at helping emerging young Nigerian musicians overcome the challenges they face. The initiative seeks to prepare young talents for success on both national and global stages.

The collaboration with MUSON provides a comprehensive experience designed to nurture the next generation of musical talent in Nigeria. The programme offers world-class training to enhance musical skills, deepen understanding of the music business, and foster an appreciation for the arts.

In addition to covering full tuition, the MTN-MUSON Scholarship Programme focuses on building stage confidence and offering opportunities for live performances. These experiences are intended to help musical talents thrive in the industry.

The MTN Foundation highlighted that over 484 alumni of the scholarship programme have achieved prominence in the music industry, both locally and internationally.

The foundation encouraged talented young Nigerian musicians passionate about success to apply, offering a chance to refine their skills, connect with other musicians, and build a strong foundation for a successful music career.

Since its inception in 2004, the MTN Foundation has invested approximately N29.4 billion in 1,052 projects across Nigeria.
