High Chief Rashidi Ladoja Receives Crown as Oba in Line for Olubadan Throne

High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, has been formally installed as an Oba in the succession line for the Olubadan throne.

The crowning ceremony took place on Monday at a brief event held at the new Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

Earlier, High Chief Ladoja had publicly shared his decision to accept the crown during a live radio broadcast in Ibadan. Since then, his residence in Bodija has become a focal point of activity, welcoming numerous well-wishers and supporters.

Among the notable visitors who came to offer their congratulations were Governor Seyi Makinde, the Asiwaju of Ibadanland Chief Bode Amao, Chief Bayo Oyero, Chief Wole Akinwande.
