The Gombe State Government has donated foodstuffs to Batch B Stream II corps members currently undergoing their three-week orientation course at Amada camp in Akko Local Government Area.

In a press statement issued by Joshua Danmalam, Information Officer at the Secretary to the Government of the State office, it was revealed that the donation was made on behalf of Governor Yahaya Inuwa by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Adamu Inuwa.

“The donation is intended to supplement the feeding of corps members at the camp and alleviate the impact of the rising cost of food items,” stated Governor Inuwa.

The statement further highlighted that Governor Inuwa extended his best wishes to the corps members and assured them of Gombe’s hospitality.

Upon receiving the foodstuffs at the temporary orientation camp, Chinwe Nwachuku, the State Coordinator of NYSC Gombe State, expressed her gratitude for the governor’s gesture. She also pledged to inform the Director-General and top management of the NYSC about the governor’s continued support.
