A commuter named Tosin expressed frustration over the recurrent flooding in the area.

In Ikeja, LASUTH link road was reportedly flooded, leading to road closures and difficulties for drivers and pedestrians. A resident, Aishat Ojetola, described the situation as chaotic, with water levels reaching knee-high and causing traffic jams due to stagnant water and lack of drainage channels.

Similarly, in Oyo State, a resident captured the aftermath of the rainstorm, showing billboards collapsed on roads, obstructing traffic flow. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported, but motorists were advised to seek alternative routes to avoid further disruptions.
