Vincent Kompany to Become New Bayern Munich Coach

Vincent Kompany is set to take over as the new head coach of Bayern Munich, according to reports. The former Belgium international, who recently managed the now-relegated Premier League side Burnley, will replace Thomas Tuchel, who departed the club at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Bayern Munich and Burnley have agreed on a compensation fee of 12 million euros for Kompany. The contract, which has already been sealed, will see Kompany at the helm for a three-year period.
Kompany previously led Burnley to the Championship title two seasons ago, securing their promotion to the Premier League. However, their stint in the top flight was short-lived as they finished at the bottom of the league, resulting in an immediate return to the Championship, alongside Luton Town and Sheffield United.
