Victor Osimhen Joins Galatasaray on Loan: Striker Receives Hero’s Welcome

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen received a warm welcome from enthusiastic Galatasaray fans who stayed up late to see the striker after he completed his loan move to the Turkish club.
The move comes after Osimhen’s attempts to transfer to Al Ahli or Chelsea fell through, and with the recent arrival of Romelu Lukaku at Napoli, the striker faced the prospect of four months without active football.
Osimhen’s new deal with Galatasaray marks an exciting new chapter for the African Footballer of the Year. He agreed to join the Turkish side on loan for a fee of €9-10 million. Additionally, he negotiated for his release clause at Napoli to be reduced to €75 million from €130 million and secured a break clause for January in case top clubs show interest.
The loan arrangement with Napoli does not include a buy option or obligation clause. Osimhen was greeted by fans upon his arrival and is expected to be officially unveiled by Galatasaray soon.
