Written by Jerry Alomatu on July 10, 2024
Shiloh Media Film Academy under the leadership of Mrs Rebecca Olumeru, in conjunction with the Alumni Fellowship of LADTEM Commission, is producing a movie masterpiece set to bring an impactful and transformative film to life.
The highly anticipated film “Uncultured,’’ directed by Oluwaseun Adesola-Zion, began production on July 4th to continue through July 11th, 2024, bringing this exciting project one step closer to completion.
“Uncultured” is a compelling drama that delves into the spiritual and moral dilemmas faced by its characters. Central to the story is Anabel, a devout young woman whose faith is gradually undermined as she becomes ensnared in the sinister schemes of Patrick. Driven by a ruthless pursuit of wealth and power, Patrick manipulates those around him, including Anabel, whose spiritual integrity falters under the weight of external distractions and temptations. Her journey highlights the delicate balance between maintaining one’s faith and succumbing to worldly influences.
Parallel to Anabel’s struggle is Hannah’s tragic narrative, where her relentless pursuit of wealth and validation leads her to compromise her moral principles, ultimately jeopardizing her destiny within Patrick’s web of deceit. Her story serves as a stark warning about the perils of forsaking spiritual and ethical foundations for fleeting gains. “Uncultured” underscores the vital role of discipleship and faith in navigating life’s challenges, portraying the profound impact of these relationships in overcoming adversity. As the characters’ fates intertwine, the film keeps viewers on edge, questioning whether Anabel and Hannah will find redemption or fall further into deception, making it a gripping exploration of their spiritual battles.
This collaborative effort between the Alumni Fellowship of LADTEM Commission and Shiloh Media Film Academy promises to deliver a captivating story with a talented cast, featuring Precious Okojie, Atinuke Oluseye, Tolu Adeoye, and many others.
The LADTEM Alumni has a reputation for producing exceptional films, and “Uncultured” is expected to be another outstanding production. Previous notable films from the Alumni include “The Edge,” directed by Emmanuel Bada and Mike Opadokun, and “Residue of Sin,” also directed by Emmanuel Bada and Mike Opadokun, among others.
This year, the Alumni body has organized various film productions across the North, East, and West regions, bringing members together to use their skills to reach out to unsaved souls.
As the cast and crew work tirelessly to bring this story to life, anticipation builds for the final product. Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of “Uncultured” and get ready for a cinematic experience like no other.
