President Federation Cup Finals Set for June 29 in Abuja

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the grand finale of the 2023 President Federation Cup for both men and women will take place on Saturday, June 29, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. The women’s competition is currently in the quarter-final stage, while the men’s event has reached the semi-final stage.

NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, confirmed that the date was agreed upon in coordination with GTI to meet the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) deadline for submitting the names of Nigeria’s representatives for next season’s continental club competitions. “Having looked closely at our programmes, the stage the men and women competitions are at the moment and the need to submit the names of all our representative clubs to CAF for African Club Competitions next season, we have reached a consensus for the grand finale of the men and women finals of the President Federation Cup to take place on Saturday, June 29,” Sanusi said in a statement.

Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals Matches

The women’s quarter-finals are scheduled for today, June 19, and will be played across three cities:
Benin City: Nasarawa Amazons vs. Remo Stars Ladies at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium
Benin City: Delta Queens vs. Sunshine Queens at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium
Asaba: FC Robo Queens vs. Naija Ratels
Enugu: Osun Babes vs. Rivers Angels at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium

The men’s semi-finals will be held on Thursday, June 20:
Lafia City Stadium: Abia Warriors vs. Kano Pillars
NFF/FIFA Goal Project, Abuja: El-Kanemi Warriors vs. Kebbi United
