Joselu’s Double Seals Remarkable Madrid Comeback, Securing Champions League Final Spot

Real Madrid orchestrated a stunning comeback against Bayern Munich, securing a spot in the Champions League final with Joselu’s late brace, earning them a 2-1 victory on Wednesday and a 4-3 aggregate win.
The Canadian midfielder for Bayern, Alphonso Davies, put his team ahead in the second half with a powerful strike. However, Real Madrid, the 14-time Champions League winners, mounted a sensational turnaround, with Joselu finding the net in the 88th and 91st minutes
This victory sets up a clash between Spanish champions Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, another German side, in the final at Wembley on June 1. Madrid managed to overcome what they referred to as their “black beast.”
Joselu, who came on as a substitute late in the game, cemented his place in Madrid’s history with his decisive goals.

Despite Bayern’s Davies initially putting the visitors in front, Madrid controlled much of the game. Key saves from veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer kept Bayern in contention, denying several goal-scoring opportunities for Madrid.
Neuer’s exceptional performance seemed to secure Bayern’s path to the final. However, Madrid’s relentless pressure paid off, with Joselu capitalizing on a rare Neuer mistake to equalize. Moments later, Joselu struck again, turning the game on its head and sealing Madrid’s place in the final.
After a lengthy period of stoppage time, Madrid emerged victorious, setting the stage for their bid to claim a record 15th Champions League trophy.
