Army Captures Terrorists, Seizes Arms and Ammunition

The Nigerian Army, in collaboration with other security agencies, has delivered a series of impactful counter-terrorism operations across multiple states.
Troops have successfully apprehended 15 gun-runners and logistics suppliers, and neutralized one suspect. Operations took place in Taraba, Yobe, Kaduna, Edo, and Plateau States, resulting in the recovery of firearms, ammunition, and other crucial items.
In Taraba State, troops conducted a raid leading to significant arms and ammunition seizures. In Yobe, three Boko Haram logistics suppliers were arrested, with vehicles, motorcycles, and drugs recovered. Kaduna State saw the capture of suspects with substantial cash and ammunition, while a notorious kidnapper was neutralized in Edo State. Plateau State operations led to the apprehension of three kidnap suspects.
The Chief of Army Staff praised the troops for their dedication and resilience, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the nation’s safety.
