During the media launch in Lagos, Robert Giles, Senior Advisory of Retail Banking at Access Bank, expressed his excitement regarding the partnership with Mastercard. He highlighted the collaboration’s aim to drive financial inclusion in Africa through the Access Africa initiative.

“Customers in Access Bank’s operating countries in Africa are now empowered to conduct cross-border payments globally through various channels including bank accounts, mobile wallets, cards, and cash. “As of today, the newly introduced solution will be operational across Africa, with plans for further expansion across the continent. This solution serves as a global gateway for businesses and individuals leveraging Access Bank Group’s comprehensive understanding of African markets and forward-looking vision aimed at realizing customers’ aspirations through innovative product offerings,” Giles added.
