Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has extended his congratulations to Ayo Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, on his 64th birthday. In a statement released by Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Wike described Fayose as a reliable ally, a cherished friend, and a brother.
“He is such a valuable friend and brother, who will never pretend about where he stands on issues,” Wike said.
Wike noted, “I rejoice with my friend and brother, former Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, on his attainment of 64 years on earth today, Nov. 15. The attainment of this age is no doubt a confirmation of the grace the Almighty God has bestowed on him and a challenge for more service to our country, Nigeria.”
Wike highlighted Fayose’s significant impact on Nigerian politics, particularly his legacy in Ekiti State, saying, “At 64, Fayose has remained a reference point in politics in Nigeria. His footprints on the sands of Ekiti will forever remain indelible.”
He concluded by praying for continued blessings and health for Fayose, emphasizing that God’s grace would sustain him.
